At Cider Horse Farm, we believe that the healthiest landscapes are those that leave room for nature to flourish. Alongside caring for our horses and orchard, we are gradually restoring pockets of native habitat, encouraging biodiversity, improving soil health, and creating places where birds, pollinators, beneficial insects and native wildlife can thrive. Rather than controlling every corner of the landscape, we seek to work with rhythms of nature, allowing the land to become more resilient and alive with each passing season.
Rewilding is a long-term commitment and a continual process of learning. Whether planting or encouraging native plant species to re-establish, restoring natural waterways and hedgerows, or simply allowing certain areas to return to a more natural state, each small step helps rebuild the intricate web of life that makes a healthy ecosystem. Our hope is that Cider Horse will not only produce exceptional fruit and provide a healthy and welcoming pastoral life for horses, but also serve as a place where people can experience the beauty, richness, and quiet renewal that comes from nature leading the way……..
